Happy New Year!

So it's that time of year again, a new beginning, a time for a fresh start and improve your life.
I decided this year that I would sway away from the cliché's of dieting and exercising. I decided that as I am turning 18 this year, an adult, eeesh, I'm going to have to start growing up! Come June, I'm going to have to leave the comfort of my college and venture out into the big world. Although, I'm not going to University, I'll hopefully be doing an art foundation course at a different college I am currently at.

The one major thing I would love to do this year is get a job. I have been looking but admittedly it has been half heartedly!
I also would love to learn how to play the guitar. I have been saying this for years now and i just haven't had the motivation to do it, but this year I feel different for some reason! I just need to learn how to tune my guitar and I'll be well on my way.

I'm also doing the 'put every good comment in a jar' thing this year. I haven't done it before and when it came to the end of 2013, I thought it would be amazing to be able to read through all the great things that have happened during that year. And it's not just the big things, it's the little things that you may forget a few weeks later and no longer appreciate.

I'm also going to write a lot more blog posts and just write about what I've been up to recently, mainly for me to read back on but if you like to read it, then that's a bonus!

So hopefully, but this time next year, i would be writing a blog post explaining that I've learn how to play a couple of song on the guitar, am on a course that I'm really enjoying and have my very own job! I have high hopes for 2014 and I am determined it is going to be a good and positive year.

***Holiday To Lanzarote***

A couple of weeks ago I went to Lanzarote for 9 days. 

This was the first time I have been and I absolutely loved it! I met so many new people who were all so nice and had some lovely days out. Here are some photos to show how pretty Lanzarote can be. 

Here are some pictures I took while we camped on a beach on a little island called 'La Graciosa'. It was so adorable, it felt like we were staying on our very own desert island!
